Phase I: Breakfast (Willow Hall, Center Table, Ground level)
- Check in with Lead Staff then go meet up a group on the Willow Hall 5th Floor between 7:00 and 8:00 to go down to breakfast. Check in with Lead Staff if you do not plan to go to breakfast.
- At 8:30, Meet outside Center Table at Willow Hall (see map) to depart for HUB for morning session
Phase I: Tour of KUOW Puget Sound Public Radio 94.9 FM (KUOW Radio Station, 4518 University Way NE, Suite 310) Kelsey Kupferer, Program Producer - RadioActive Youth Media, KUOW
- Explore an on campus public radio station. Check them out at http://kuow.org/radioactive.
Phase I: Walk Back to HUB 145 and Snack Break (HUB, Room 145)

- See what technology you have and some ways to use it.
- Review security, updates and register Word.
Phase I: Lunch (HUB, Husky Den, Lower Level)
- Have lunch with fellow Scholars in the Husky Den.
- Computer lab (HUB 145) is open today from 12:00-1:30.

- See what assistive technology and apps college students use and how they use them.

- Learn about real-life costs of attending college and tips on how to pay for it.
Phase I: Field Trip Prep/Staying Connected (HUB, Room 145) Tami Tidwell, DO-IT Program Coordinator
- A preview of what is coming up this weekend.
- Announce evening plans and direct Scholars to meeting place to depart field trips.
- Reminders: Work on newsletter articles, take all personal items for the weekend and leave your laptop/tech in the lab.
4:45: Phase I: Back to Willow Hall
5:00-6:30: Phase I: Dinner (Willow Hall, Center Table, Ground level)
6:30: Phase I: Meet Willow Lobby Indoors Ground Floor (see map) to depart for U-Village.
Phase I: Village People! (University Village)
- Hang out at the U-Village outdoor mall. Travel in groups of 3 or more, each with at least one intern or staff member.
- Pick up a treat with your $7 Starbucks card!
8:45: Phase I: Meet at Main Starbucks (QFC Accessible Parking Spots) to return from U-Village to campus. The van will be available to any one who would like a ride.
Evening Dorm Activities / Go To Bed (Willow Hall, 5th Floor)
- Visiting, board games, crafts, and more (Willow 5th Floor Lounge).
- Hang out in your dorm room or go to bed early to get some rest.
Flush and Brush!
- Time to finish up your evening routine and head to your room.
Goodnight! All Scholars must be in their rooms in Willow Hall.
