Graduated from Earlham College with a degree in computer science and politics. Interested in computer programming, math, science, and choral singing.

Cerebral palsy, visual and hearing impairments

Earned a master’s degree in rehabilitation mental health counseling from Western Oregon University and a bachelor’s degree in community psychology with a minor in disability studies from the University of Washington Bothell. Works for North Seattle Division of Vocational Rehabilitation as a vocational rehabilitation counselor. Received service dog, Mabel, through Summit Assistance Dogs in November 2017.

Earned an associate degree in applied science in business administration from Spokane Falls Community College. Plans to pursue a certificate in professional baking from Spokane Community College.

Graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a degree in history with minors in Spanish and religion. Has been working for the federal government for five years now.

Attends college and is interested in political science. Worked as a youth camp counselor and soccer referee and wants to be a band teacher. Lobbied a bill for financial education in math classes in Olympia, Washington.

Earned an associate degree from Bellevue College and a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. Currently employed as digital print specialist making wholesale stickers.

Erb’s palsy

Has a master’s in public health from Columbia University and bachelor’s degrees in biology and public health from the University of Washington (UW). Currently a fifth year doctoral student in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health at UW School of Public Health studying occupational health services. She completed a second year in her internship with the American Evaluation Association Graduate Education Diversity Internship (GEDI) with Michigan Public Health Institute practicing a culturally responsive and racial equity lens in evaluation and research. Supports various research studies, most recently with the Health Promotion Research Center, evaluating how evidence-based programs for older adults transitioned from in-person to remote during the COVID-19 pandemic. Focusing her dissertation on how labor laws and policies impact agricultural worker health.

Attended Western Washington University. Works part-time on the family farm as a bookkeeper.

Earned associate degrees in arts, chemistry, and biology. Took classes toward a bachelor’s degree at Washington State University and earned a minor in mathematics. Completed undergraduate research on isotopes in the rain and participated in club leadership as website director for the Society of Professional Engineers. Currently studying computer science at Western Governors University.

Graduated from California State University, Chico with a degree in business information systems with an emphasis in management. Working as an IT engineer for DXC Technology focusing on systems, applications, and products implementation and support.

Earned post baccalaureate paralegal certificate at Edmonds Community College. Left Phillips Law Firm to become an insurance claim handler with Allstate Insurance focusing on uninsured motorist injury claims. Lives in Salt Lake City and recently bought a house.

Auditory processing disorder

Earned an associate of applied science in architectural design and drafting from Portland Community College. Works as a full-time CAD drafter 2 as part of the substation department of Power Engineers in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Since the pandemic started, now works remotely out of his home in Washington. Enjoys collaborating with engineers and designs on a variety of projects with different power companies and feels happy in this current career choice.

Brain tumor causing learning delays, health impairments

Attends Western Oregon University to earn a bachelor’s degree and become an American Sign Language interpreter. May pursue a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling and eventually work with individuals who are deaf. Works at Partnerships in Community Living to support people with developmental disabilities.

Wesley, ‘08 Scholar

After graduating from Napavine High School, took online college classes in his area of interest, psychology. He joked that he wanted to be the next Dr. Phil. Aspired to work with families, with children or in the field of drug addiction and will always be remembered for his sense of humor and playful nature. Passed away in April 2018.
